Health Policy

Visitor Code of Conduct
We are committed to providing a healthy and safe environment at the Hands On Children’s Museum. When visiting, you and all members of your group agree to the following:

  • As mandated by the State of Washington Secretary of Health and the Governor's office, all Museum guests ages five (5) and over are required to wear a face covering, even if they have already received the vaccine or had COVID 19. Children ages 3 & 4 are strongly encouraged to wear face coverings and the Museum is happy to provide an approved disposable mask. Face coverings must be worn at all times. Masks/face coverings must be cloth or disposable medical masks that fit snugly against the sides of the face; completely cover the nose and mouth, provide one or several layers of cloth and be secured with ties, ear loops or other equally effective method. Face shields with drapes may be substituted for a medical accommodation. Open mesh masks are not accepted. For patrons unable to visit the Museum in person, you may request a Hands On Curiosity Kit for the cost of admission (or free with active membership.)
  • Visitors must maintain proper social distancing (6-feet) from others not in your group and follow directional signage.
  • Visitors agree to wash hands, use hand sanitizer and wipes before and as needed during visit.

We appreciate your support in helping us keep our visitors and staff healthy and safe.
