The museum closes at 3:00 pm June 18 for a private event.

The timed start check-in period lasts for 15 minutes. After you check in, you mastay and play as long as you like until museum closeThe first available date and check-in time is shown above.

All admissions to Hands On Children’s Museum require a timed start reservation.
Reserve tickets in advance for each person in your group, including babies.

Please arrive at your at your reserved check-in time.  Admittance is not guaranteed if you arrive later than 15 minutes after your reserved check-in time.  After you check in, you may play as long as you like until museum close. 

Timed start registration is available every hour up to two hours before closing.  Museum hours are subject to change.

Member admissions are limited to families with an active HOCM membership. Deluxe and Basic membership levels may register up to two member guests for free based on the terms of your membership.

If you also need to purchase general admission tickets for additional visitors in your group, please complete the member reservation and then register paid visitors using the general admission registration link.

Important Information about your visit:

The CDC and Governor are proposing major changes to face coverings and pandemic restrictions. We are seeking clarification from the Health Department and will post any policy changes to our Hours and Admissions web page. Check our website prior to your visit for current requirements.

  • All visitors must be free of symptoms of COVID-19.
  • All Museum guests ages five (5) and over are required to wear a face covering, whether you have been vaccinated or not. Children ages 3 & 4 are strongly encouraged to wear face coverings. 
  • Face coverings must be worn at all times and must be cloth or disposable medical masks that fit snugly against the face; completely cover the nose and mouth, provide one or several layers of cloth. Face shields with drapes may be substituted for a medical accommodation. Open mesh masks are not accepted.
  • Visitors must maintain proper social distancing (6-feet) from others not in your group and follow directional signage.
  • Visitors agree to wash hands, use hand sanitizer and wipes before and as needed during visit.

Waiver
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is a very contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and visitors with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. By reserving tickets you acknowledge that you understand and voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 for all members of your group.
